Unmoved

A gift or curse? What would you say?
All spells reverse, magic conveys.
An act so cruel, yet well received,
bends every rule that hearts believe.

Connection felt to mother earth,
made old days melt, for her rebirth.
Deep rooted source became alive,
old withered force swiftly revived.

For once so still, no one around,
her own strong will, muted all sounds.
Pure peace exposed by warm sun rays,
whole and composed, in full display.

At last attached to all that is,
all holes now patched, no need for limbs.
Serene breeze sings, time chimes away,
fixed like a tree clearing all days.

A curse or gift? What do you think?
The perfect shift, within a blink.
Vital to life in every sense,
intent for strife, helped love dispense.

  1. Lovely poem! Such beautiful language. Have you heard of Amazon Createspace? You can self-publish books there. I used it to publish my poetry. It’s easy to use and user-friendly
