Choice

Afraid of losing
a comfort I know.
Scared of reducing
devotion you show.

I walk on tiptoes
to not ring alarms.
I pose like a rose,
win you with my charm.

Frightened by your eyes
they may see my flaws.
Jump if you imply
you need a bit more.

Your needs must come first
always placed above.
Quench all of your thirsts
make sure you feel loved.

Embrace breaths of ease,
decide to relax.
Focusing on me
not looking for cracks.

Seize light from within,
sense as hearts attach.
Self-love always wins,
all else will attract.

Why?

Broken connections,
haunt my dull mind.
Loss of affection,
trailing behind.

Where did my friends go?
Who are they now?
Warm hearts turned so cold,
eyes filled with clouds.

A broken friendship
strums at my mind.
A lonely steamship
without a bind.

Why did we meet?
Why did we break?
Were we incomplete?
Was it all fake?

Memories linger
throughout each day.
Pointing a finger,
empathy swayed.

It served a purpose
time just ran out,
scratching the surface
releases all doubts.

Greater learned lessons
cement while alone.
Inner progression
within my bright zone.

Hi

Goodbye, Good ole days.
Memories will always stay.
Embracing today.

Enraged

Anger and rage,
blood bubbles then boils.
Heated flushed face,
emotions recoil.
Headaches vibrate,
tears moisten the soil.
Take center stage,
composure soon broils.

One simple phrase
shoots me to the sun.
Arms become rays,
my words a shotgun.
Past happy days,
use my mind to run.
Peace swims my way,
anxiety stuns.

Angel embrace,
provides a restart.
Kissing my face,
mending my scorned heart.
Veins flow with grace,
all tensions depart.
My serene place,
offers a new start.

Calmness inside
rocks me to full ease.
Patience provides,
freedom like the breeze.
Clarity guides,
providing sound keys.
Let fury slide,
so blurred eyes can see.

Again

Fuel my heart, ignite my mind.
Light the sparks, as paths align.

A first breath is reassigned.
Prior deaths are by design.

Second chance to rectify.
One more prance to clarify.

I am now what I once judged.
Promised vows will clear past smudge.

Bashing you, reflects on me,
painting views of what I see.

Walking through life, once again.
Light will guide as I transcend.

Circles

Simulation, tale or dream,
all together hear a scream.
What is real? and would we know?
If it landed on our nose?

If eyes could see all that’s there,
would we dare? or even care?
Formed realities are touched,
fabricated, to feel rough!

It will seem to feel quite tough,
yet transforms to smoky puffs.
Will true knowledge be exposed?
Can we open eyes that closed?

Meditate, inhaling peace,
with intentions underneath.
Will we ever gain control?
Can we clear our tainted soul?

Can we swim free in the breeze?
Will we embrace unity?
Second chances turn the key,
liberates humanity.

One encounter at a time,
free all thoughts to ease the mind.
Simple measures all can find,
answers transform dark to kind.

Con

Endless carrot chase.
An alluring deception.
Stop playing their game.

Floating Dreams

Saddle on an ocean wave,
ride it till we fly away.
Pages turn by blowing wind,
bright stars shield our shiny skin.

Crescent moon as a pillow,
bask in dreams of love we know.
Build a fort, high in the air,
balanced breezes make breaths fair.

Listen to a singing rose,
angel kisses on our nose,
vibrant rainbows paint bright views,
endless sky in shades of blue.

Break of dawn, lets blow a wish,
sunrise will let hopes flourish.
A closed portal day and night,
protecting euphoric light.
