Oblivious to the Obvious

Nature’s whisper,
swiftly, unseen,
leaves softly dance,
sway in between.
Unique designs,
swirl in the air,
full heads face down,
walk unaware.

Trees stretch branches,
patterns so fine,
treasures woven,
by hands of time.
Overlook grace,
dash through the park,
blind as pure charm,
glows in the dark.

Streams hum sweet tunes,
earth understands,
hurry along,
life feels so bland.
Ideal plans,
drift with the breeze,
lost in shuffle,
caught by the sea.

Signs all around,
amidst the rush,
secrets are found,
inwardly hush.
Art of the world,
endlessly flows,
sings a bright song,
pause so heart knows.

  1. Art of the world, endlessly flows…well penned, Grace! Title of the poem is so appropriate here 👏👏💕

  2. Your verses invite us to stop, observe and listen, to find meaning in the small details and subtle rhythms of life. In essence, it is a call to appreciate the obvious that, paradoxically, we tend to forget.

    Sincere hugs.

  3. What a lovely reminder to slow down and look around! I think we’d be much happier as a whole if we’d take a moment to observe and enjoy. 💞💞💞
