connections unknown,
blinded attachments,
till effects are shown.
Choices decided
outcome in the air,
stirring decisions
some may find unfair.
Power in the heart
can not be controlled,
conquering the mind
consuming the soul.
One can cause a fall,
lacking a strong will,
oblivious to pain
that cause tears to spill.
Coveting a joy
that is meant to be,
boomerangs right back
once it is set free.
