Pleased

Who cares about “wants” anyway?
Fulfill all “needs” to be okay?
Assured to last another day,
colorful “wants” keep all “needs” gray.

Should we be “grateful” and not “wish”?
Anchored in stagnancy if switched?
To be content with being nourished,
without a need to gain or flourish.

Will my thirst be quenched in this cycle?
Erasing “goals” while walking “idle”?
Both “wants” and “need” hold a recital,
secretly fighting for the tittle.

Can we transform “wants” into “needs”?
Will “wishes” sprout like planted seeds?
Success proceeds and takes the lead,
while “gratitude” helps hopes exceed.

  1. This question by you
Can we transform “wants” into “needs”?
Deeper than the deep , all wants cannot be transformed into needs ,
Dear Grace I love to meet the philosopher in you everyday, I actually wait to see what shade your philosophy would take each day ,
Stay blessed, you are a truly kind and inspirational personality ❤️❣️😊

  2. A beautiful and meaningful poem. These two lines stood out for me:
Both “wants” and “need” hold a recital,
    secretly fighting for the tittle.
    So well expressed👌👌💖
