Photographic Memories

Pictures live within his mind,
vivid scenes create a dance,
emotions swirl, then combine,
profound reminders enhance.

Gusty goals sing melodies,
strum his heart, whisper soft chimes,
flicker solid memories,
flow through blank, old hollow times.

Spin around, uncover veils,
mesmerized by silent tunes,
photographs expose great tales,
scented with timeless perfume.

Snapshots fall as seasons crash,
stagnant tears cascade like rain.
Night skies twinkle as stars flash,
pinch of light upon aged pain.

Years evaporate and pass,
minutes sway within the breeze,
hesitance wrapped in contrast,
box inner storms till they freeze.

Listen to peaceful raindrops,
images run through his head.
Instantly warm daydreams stop,
prints provide visions instead.

  3. Great job. I loved the line: Snapshots fall as seasons crash.

When certain experiences are over, pictures we’ve taken during those moments are all we’ve got left as reminders. And when we are gone, those photos shall tell our tales.

    Wonderful take!
