Oblivious Joy

I wish at times to
blind my eyes.
Unknow the truth
from time to time.

Enjoy a movie
as it is,
not search to see
clues held within.

I wish I would have
never seen,
what goes beyond
the in-between.

So I could live
a normal life.
Play ignorant,
create my strife.

I wish that I
could not foresee,
paths that unwind
and what will be.

So I can let fate
reel me in,
follow my bliss
focus within.

Touched by a light
so warm and bright.
It lit my sight
I gained new heights.

With opened eyes,
I searched the skies.
Infinite sighs
pulled me up high.

  1. Ah Grace, this is just perfect. I deeply resonate with every line and feel so comforted while reading your beautiful words. Just magically done, my dear friend…I am speechless ๐Ÿค—๐Ÿ–ค

  2. This is incredible, Grace! Your pieces pack words with such smooth rhyming. Some of the lines were exceptional, loved this piece โค

  3. Too much knowledge is also not desirable. I liked, unknow the truth. An amazing piece๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿ’–

  4. So resonates: โ€œI wish at times to
    blind my eyes.
    Unknow the truth
    from time to time.โ€

I wish that too sometimes. To unknown the truth of whatโ€™s going on. Those terrible things are not unrelated. Hope everyone awakes soon.
    I wish us all miracles.

    Thanks for sharing, Grace. Blessings.
