Guiding Light

Guide me like a lighthouse,
illuminate my path.
Remove stagnant self doubts,
vanquish all unseen wraths .

Downpours of great wisdom,
come to narrate this life.
Cascade with warm bright beams,
that will live in my eyes.

Reflective ever free,
gleam sun rays everyday.
Flow like the serene sea,
at night with peaceful waves.

Help me feel self assured,
as held fears disappear.
Make my heart beat so pure,
my soul swiftly flies clear.

Shiny star in the sky,
twinkles with endless thoughts.
Capture wishes thrown high,
with pure intentions caught.

  2. Lighthouses are magical and bring back fond memories of the Oregon Coast. Beautiful, hopeful poetry, and just what I needed to read. Thanks so much, my friend. πŸ™‚

  3. Lovely job, Grace. Beautiful take.
I don’t know what I was thinking when I posted my response. I chose to go with a song and I must have had brain freeze because I selected Windmills of Your Mind. I KNEW this was a lighthouse but I went with a song about windmills! Go figure! Crispina must think I’ve gone daft! πŸ˜‚ πŸ€¦πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ
