Charming hook lures pure hearts in,
shines bright, while piercing soft skin.
Memories haunt deep within,
swims through thoughts, inventing sin.
Clever arrow, shiny head,
sails the air, misses instead.
Lucky prey runs far ahead,
follows instinct, where it led.
One more day counting the sand,
upside down regrets, still land.
Same blank day never expands,
if dictating life’s great plan.
Chew on trauma, fall in trap,
digs the mind, while leaving gaps.
Reliving thoughts till they snap,
spread large wings, that cannot flap.
Pause from climbing, feel the now,
stop asking “why”, “when” and “how”.
History can form new vows,
others do what you allow.
Free the past, create new goals,
old days gone, regain control.
Flesh can be torn, not the soul,
absorb old times, become whole.
Regrets shadow yesterday,
tomorrow follows today.
Use lessons as sound displays,
blissful days are underway.
