Fluorescent thoughts rest in my mouth,
choke up inside mind full of doubts.
Chain deep set goals to barricade,
slice dreams apart till faith decays.
Sweet melodies held up inside,
vibrations pierce, emotions hide.
Outer details sting eager eyes,
inner courage does not arise.
Sounds penetrate through every pore,
to gently rest within my core.
A whispered scream strangles my fears,
swallow all words, gifts to my ears.
“Accept yourself,
be who you are.
Jump off the shelf,
so hopes fling far.
Not every wish
could be appeased,
spirits flourish
with grace and ease.
Some will love you,
others will hate.
Always be true
then leave to fate.
Feelings you hold
are vital too.
Do not let molds
control your views.”
Full moonlit covered heart and soul,
a peaceful sense of pure control.
Goosebumps draped from head to toe,
assured tomorrow shines and glows.
