The fear inside her misty eyes,
made her heart spring and shoot up high.
Blood pressure races to the sky,
asking herself the reason why?
Why did a solar flare attack?
Why do magnetic fields have cracks?
Why do so many problems stack?
Why does this world suffer such lack?
Taking a breath trying to calm,
drank water from her shaking palm.
Her lips so dry, she applied balm,
slowly recited sacred psalms.
Closed both her eyes, felt instant ease,
she got up then dusted her knees,
suddenly felt a sense of peace,
caress her face with the warm breeze.
So grateful this was not the end,
realizing fractures can all mend.
Instantly felt her faith extend,
knowing unknown powers transcend.
