Stagnant

Shut her eyes
to look inside,
Covered lies
she tried to hide.

All she built
withered and died.
Silent guilt
swept up her pride.

Rusted tears,
too stuck to cry.
Brand new fears
glued to her side.

Seeking joy,
she had to try.
Flipped a coin,
let it decide.

Confessed truths,
remorse untied.
Feeling soothed,
and undenied.

Visions cleared,
views became wide.
Light appeared,
vowing to guide.
