Pampered

Love wishes she could have it all,
wipe every tear,
catch every fall.

Pray she never feels down or sad,
her big bright smiles,
makes my heart glad.

But these actions may not be good,
with wants and needs,
misunderstood.

Try to teach lessons, she can learn,
give her rewards,
for what she earns.

Overindulgence devalues,
transforms warm hearts,
into statues.

At times may erase sympathy,
blind sincere eyes
from empathy.

A hug and praise may be just right,
small ice cream scoop,
can bring delight.
