Love Bells

He fit nowhere,
filled with despair,
alone and bare,
he placed a dare.
Arms in the air
yearning to care,
hoped life was fair
and love climbed stairs.

Past bonds all failed,
knew faith tips scales,
ambitions sailed,
noticed details.
Essence of hail,
but felt so frail,
created tales,
he hoped prevailed.

Right then and there,
painted a layer,
a silent prayer,
made him aware.
True joy so rare,
beyond compare,
his perfect pair,
matched his shocked stare

Wishes he mailed,
landed and nailed,
jumped off the rails,
uncovered veils.
Love was exhaled,
huge as a whale,
pure joy inhaled,
forming light trails.

In a joint square,
their life was shared,
endless affair,
true love was theirs.
Bliss filled the air,
bright yellow flare,
found they were heirs,
to hearts that care.

  1. A picture is worth a thousand words, but if I were to find one phrase that could replace this picture in the post, I would choose “Love Bells”. That phrase rings in the colours in the background, and reflects in the white from which flowers of love protrude.

    Beautiful. Well done! Grace.
