Second Scene

Chaos hugs turmoil, now bound,
misery is swiftly drowned.
Endless circle, tranquil grounds,
where serenity is found.
Peaceful wisdom, soon surrounds,
powerful thoughts swirl around.
Hear wise words the winds compound,
penetrate deep and profound.

Green path opens to cease spin,
so new chapters could begin.
As warm Sun rays kiss dull skin,
allow pure light to seep in.
Blissful tears freed from within,
assured hopes could see a win.
Each step carries a slight spring,
tastes of what tomorrow brings.

Golden copper colored skies,
euphoric dreams seem to fly.
Endless love held in all eyes,
delighted to fling cheer high.
Pure faith urges hearts to try,
wishes made, often comply.
Good intentions do not dry,
everlasting joy supply.

Love Bells

He fit nowhere,
filled with despair,
alone and bare,
he placed a dare.
Arms in the air
yearning to care,
hoped life was fair
and love climbed stairs.

Past bonds all failed,
knew faith tips scales,
ambitions sailed,
noticed details.
Essence of hail,
but felt so frail,
created tales,
he hoped prevailed.

Right then and there,
painted a layer,
a silent prayer,
made him aware.
True joy so rare,
beyond compare,
his perfect pair,
matched his shocked stare

Wishes he mailed,
landed and nailed,
jumped off the rails,
uncovered veils.
Love was exhaled,
huge as a whale,
pure joy inhaled,
forming light trails.

In a joint square,
their life was shared,
endless affair,
true love was theirs.
Bliss filled the air,
bright yellow flare,
found they were heirs,
to hearts that care.

Illuminate

Blind my eyes,
then warm me up.
Let your shine,
beam like the sun.

Clear my heart,
release my fears.
Brighten starts,
absorb old tears.

Awesome glow,
lights up my path.
Bask and soak,
in gleaming bath.

Kiss my head,
with glittered dust.
Radiant hues,
made of pure trust.

Inside out,
or upside down,
heal throughout,
then all around.

Far beyond,
reflections shown.
Endless bonds,
guide through unknowns.

Today’s Song

Nature’s sounds crash my brain,
writing songs as it rains,
scratch off notes, rearrange,
distinct tones interchange.

Pretty melodies help,
ease my heart’s pounding yells.
Watch the dancing wind chimes,
flow through blank hollow times.

Memories quickly tap,
as thoughts fall on my lap.
Inhale natural tunes,
that smell like old perfume.

Loud uneven thunder,
showcases bright wonders.
Lightning crashes my head,
stagnant tears quickly spread.

Watch the storm stop and freeze,
as I sway with the breeze.
See a rainbow arise,
set the stage for sunshine.

Golden ray melodies,
serve a strong remedy,
for what may lay ahead,
play music my mind read.

BFF

If I could fall into a dream,
I would make sure you are with me.
Faithful companion and best friend,
infinite bond could never end.

A journey past great waterfalls,
explore wherever nature calls,
together through both thin and thick,
find joy in watching you fetch sticks.

Some pets can give what humans lack,
a sense that they will have your back.
Clear anxious fears help stress relax,
protect from every last attack.

Enjoy each moment we can play,
no better way to spend a day.
Feel all the love your spirit brings,
fills me with joy makes my soul sing.

Play Pretend

You always give,
never receive,
teach all to live,
and to believe.
Heal lost souls through,
troublesome times,
share your wise views,
to help them climb.
Pave the best way,
then promptly guide,
each night and day,
your heart provides.

The time has come,
to pluck what grew,
effects on some,
come back so true.
Hands cover eyes
heart beats inside,
a fake surprise,
granddaughter hides.
Always aware,
when love is there.
The ones that care,
brighten the air.

Wonder

Outside feels warm,
she grabs a book.
Approaching storm,
makes her feel shook.

Some cool water
to comfort fears,
but loud thunder
sounded so near.

She leaps up high,
then sits back down,
her drink supply
did not touch ground.

An empty glass
rests in her hand,
while liquid mass
never does land.

To her dismay
it floats on by,
hunts clouds away
to clear the sky.

Heart beats so calm,
while mind feels shock,
within her palm
great gifts unlock.

Reread

Could not believe I skipped that line,
but words appeared before my eyes.
The new meaning swiftly aligned,
filled me with glee, felt so surprised.

I read this book a thousand times,
could not believe I skipped that line.
It followed great reason and rhyme,
but this new phrase made this book shine.

Pictures and sayings, well combined,
made so much sense, I felt so wise,
could not believe I skipped that line,
I thought I had it memorized.

My first real book perfect design,
knew every word it was all mine.
One sentence changed what I defined,
could not believe I skipped that line.

Connect

Pull the chord,
motor starts,
rest aboard
my red heart.

Peaceful flow,
forms rich views,
nature glows
with bright hues.

Cruise control,
visions float,
feel so whole
on this boat.

Island sight,
scented breeze,
warm sunlight,
kiss palm trees.

Fully stop,
soak it in,
powers hop,
wishes win.

Nature’s wand,
so serene,
see beyond
the machine.

Alter

Attacked by fears of the unknown,
makes his hopes sink then turn to stone,
with every breath sorrows are shown,
all due to views others have thrown.

Insecure thoughts call on the phone,
no one to trust, always alone.
The dreams he has are failure prone,
depression felt, deep in his bones.

Inside his head he hears a tone,
transmitting sounds like microphones,
it puts him in a sacred zone,
then pushes him onto his throne.

Clears up his eyes, his mind is blown,
his body rests in a cyclone.
A sense of self suddenly known,
lands on his chest, wisdom has grown.

Opens the gates, feeling atoned
his old mistakes have been outgrown,
the time has come to not postpone,
a withered leaf, the past has flown.

Within a blink his faith is honed,
tomorrow’s joy instantly sewn,
the steps he takes his heart condones,
a bright path way to call his own.
