Little Sitter

Mother said
you would come,
I felt dread
bothers dumb.

Father asked
for my help.
a big task,
ease your yelp.

Smell the joy
in the breeze,
baby boy
sit with me.

Cute laughter,
cheeks jiggle.
Watch water,
loud giggles.

Chub round face,
warms my heart.
True embrace,
never parts.

Always there,
rest assured.
The best care,
I ensured.
