Time can be so cruel,
exhausting all fuel.
Removing bright smiles,
providing great trials.

Time has no pity,
erasing pretty.
Creasing the defined,
forming wrinkled lines.

Time is not gentle,
feeling quite vengeful.
Presenting sworn fate,
arriving too late.

Time holds memories,
playing reveries.
Reliving day dreams,
allowing live scenes.

Time quickly visits,
minute by minute.
Greeting just to pass,
boring moments last.

Time can carry smiles,
that linger a while.
Visions of high slopes,
creating great hopes.

Time is imagined,
while being examined.
Ever intangible
non understandable.

Time does not exist,
running to persist.
Assisting life’s course,
without a true source.

    1. Thanks, Tammy. I will definitely consider this and maybe surprise you with a recording in the near future. I truly appreciate your support, my friend.πŸ’•β€οΈπŸ’•

  1. A poignant poem regarding the passing of time. Sometimes, it goes fast, sometimes slow, but we can always count on it never stopping….though it would be nice if Father (Mother?) Time would slow down for the good parts. πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ˜Š

  2. Wonderful poem, dear Grace. This is amazing, β€œTime is imagined,

  3. This had such a deep meaning to it, felt so good going through the words. Love the way you bring so much to the reader’s mind. Really enjoyed this, Grace ❀❀

  4. Those silly human temporal delusions… As if we could possibly “save time,” or “make time,” or “turn back time…” It really is astonishing how quickly time seems to pass once you reach a certain age. At this point, it’s just whizzing by for me at warp-speed. Age brings perspective, and it pretty much guarantees lots of retrospection and the realization of plenty of regrets for things we didn’t do because we “didn’t have the time.” I suppose we can just do the best with the time we have and enjoy things as they happen. Great poetry as always, Grace. It’s so good to be able to read you each day. πŸ™‚

  5. Time in itself is a concept. You have beautifully depicted various aspects. Loved it, Grace πŸ˜ŠπŸ’πŸ’–

  6. Another beautiful creation from your beautiful soul…you’ve so much to give…it’s a pure blessing…time is truly imagined…the significance is limited to the calendar…coz in reality time is timeless…just like the insignificance of body age…coz a soul never stays young or grows old…it is what it is…keep expressing βœ¨β€οΈπŸ’«
