Divided Outcomes

Feeling confused,
heart split in two,
one part outgrew,
dreams she thought true.
Another side
had too much pride,
ignored the lies
hidden inside.
The part that knew
what was untrue,
pushed to pursue
new goals and views.
The other one
became undone,
never begun
and never won.
Facing cold facts,
keeps life on track,
helps sway old acts,
so good attracts.
Open closed eyes,
feel inner vibes,
to recognize,
darkness from light.

  2. Where the heart beats, love never sleeps …

    Where Is Love?

    Behind every word
    There is a thought
    Between every thought
    There is an emotion
    Underneath the emotion
    There is a heartbeat
    Below the heartbeat
    There is a soul
    Within the soul
    There lives love

  3. It’s seems the gods have commissioned you to write specifically for me the past couple of days. It’s uncanny how what you described here is what I’m going through now. In the midst of a battle between two internal realities. I can’t tell which is real but I know only one of them is.
Your poems help me resolve the apparent paradox, like the spinning top in the movie Inception.
    I’m very grateful! πŸ™

  4. I initially didn’t understand the poem until I took my time to read it again, slowly.

Wow! What a poem! So thought-provoking. Brilliant job! Keep it up.

  5. We sometimes forget everything we need is inside of us and can be seen when true inner reflection is comprehended. I really enjoyed that poem since it’s rhythm and flow was very nice πŸ‘Œ Keep up the great work and thank you for highlighting a topic I enjoy. Take care and all the best.

      1. Your poems hit me and made me feel like I was in a different place. I felt taken away and inspired. I’m so glad I decided to look for more writers on here. Thank you for your dedication to your path and for sharing your soul. πŸ’“πŸ’“πŸ’“
