Feeling confused,
heart split in two,
one part outgrew,
dreams she thought true.
Another side
had too much pride,
ignored the lies
hidden inside.
The part that knew
what was untrue,
pushed to pursue
new goals and views.
The other one
became undone,
never begun
and never won.
Facing cold facts,
keeps life on track,
helps sway old acts,
so good attracts.
Open closed eyes,
feel inner vibes,
to recognize,
darkness from light.

It’s seems the gods have commissioned you to write specifically for me the past couple of days. It’s uncanny how what you described here is what I’m going through now. In the midst of a battle between two internal realities. I can’t tell which is real but I know only one of them is.
