Different Ways

True happiness is so unique.
What makes you strong,
can make me weak.

We take views in so distinctly.
Gardens for you,
mountains for me.

Your brazen ways, bring out my coy.
What makes you sad,
can bring me joy.

Dry long straight paths can lead my way.
Puddles and cracks,
can make you sway.

A laugh for you can bear my cry.
What makes both match,
tearful filled eyes.

Natural trees make me feel bright.
The greens you see,
may shade your light.

Clear blissfulness all hearts accept.
What makes pure smiles,
love and respect.

  1. Very true. Same things are different for different people. When people get sick, it’s sad moment for their family but good moment for pharma company. When data shows downfall in tobacco users, it is good news for people but sad news for tobacco companies. Life is like that only. Someone profit may be someone loss. So we should always feel positive in every ups and downs.

  2. It’s a matter of perception. The opening stanza itself is quite beautiful. Well done, Grace 😊💐💖

  3. So beautiful Grace and so well penned as always.
“Natural trees make me feel bright.
    The greens you see,
    may shade your light.”
and that last closing is so apropos and important to remember. love this 💞

  4. This is something I didn’t think about for a long time. Thank you for reminding me that different things have different meaning for different people.🍁
