forbids the growth of knowledge.
Restrains great wisdom.

  1. I truly appreciate the way you combined being foolish and stubbornness! It gave me an insight into an issue I’ve struggled with for most of my life. It is a wise and vital discernment between stubbornness and willfulness. Thank you, Grace! Beautifully written!

  2. Stubbornness is indeed a barrier to freedom & happiness & blocks natural evolution in day to day life! Thanks for making such a meaningful statement through the lovely💕post ,Grace !

  3. 😅”foolish stubbornness”

That part got me laughing. Stubbornness is needed to go far in life, but if it is the foolish kind, it suffers.

    Great poem, Grace.

    1. Thanks so much, Benjamin. I feel that determination is needed, I never really found stubbornness to have positive attributes. Determination and perseverance are key. Thanks again my friend.💕

  4. My grandfather wouldn’t talk for years to his brother. Something about a will. He was stubborn about that. Until in the retirement home they started talking to each other again. Being stubborn is time consuming and a waste you can regret later on. Great haiku, Grace!
