Bits of Rage

Days interweave,
along with nights.
What she perceives,
turns wrongs to right.
Ego deceives,
to cause a fight.
Logic just leaves,
she looses sight.

She mopes around,
feels guilt inside.
Wearing a frown,
but with great pride.
Disguise falls down,
self pity ties.
Eyes look around,
suddenly cries.

Stomps both her feet,
arms held up high.
Arising heat,
reaches the sky.
Facing defeat,
as insults fly.
Feelings compete,
frustration sighs.

Deeply inhales,
tries to relax.
Slowly exhales,
clears off attacks.
Peace never fails,
love fills all cracks.
Balance prevails,
steps back on track.

  3. A poet once said: look at her poetry and you will see a story. Each poem of her is unique. Its like finding something valuable. A dream turned into reality.

In my humbleness you are a great poet. 👏

  4. This is a classic example of your “hope wins the day” poetry. From the ashes to the light. So encouraging and empowering. Wonderful words as always, Grace. 🙂
