Exotic pet,
for all to see,
crocodile threat,
is quite unique.
Out of the box,
for how I think,
stared at by most
heart never shrinks.
Smooth attitude,
tongue in the air,
strong magnitude,
beyond compare.
Great distinct friend,
true gift of fun,
delights extend,
as boredom runs.
A concrete bond,
two beings share,
hearts see beyond,
synchronized pair.
Happiness pours,
sorrows abort,
hard to ignore,

Oh Grace … You’ve reminded me of my dad’s fake alligator (Alley) who sat on the dashboard of his dodge van and a few people actually mistook the toy for being real. It was funny! Thanks for sparking the poetic sweet memories (lol)! P.s. I have seen a few as pets, but don’t recommend 😉
