Power of Speech

Noble silent fears,
buried deep inside,
chains hold aching tears,
that force thoughts to hide.

To revere the sound,
assigned to her soul,
fueled to stand so proud,
and break every mold.

Enraged by constraints,
must go with the flow,
unfastens restraints,
cries goes where winds blow.

Rejoice in the sound,
assigned to her soul,
lost voice has been found,
with poise and control.

  1. Something about these lines strikes me
    ”chains hold aching tears,
    that force thoughts to hide.”

Powerful. And I love the “sound,
    assigned to her soul”❤️
