Poetry

A poem a day,
clears heartaches away,
releases stale cares,
hopes swallow despair.

A phrase on a page,
can bring love or rage,
rollercoaster ride,
is felt deep inside.

A simple short rhyme,
erases hard times,
soothe trails that were tough,
paint pictures with touch.

A poem a day,
let emotions play,
clears off salty tears,
allows joy to steer.

A message of hope,
expands narrow scope,
profound thoughts are read,
perceptions are spread.

A portrait of words,
help feelings get heard,
visions flow with ease,
image can brings peace.

  6. With a poem a day
    You’ll never go stale
    Just like the morning dew
    You’ll remain fresh and new.

Thanks for your poem, it inspired this short verse and reminded me of those days when I write poems.
