Lilac Breeze

A journey where the wild woods sleep,
secrets well kept, wise roots run deep,
just when dusk spills its final rays,
into a soft, lavender haze.

The trees wore coats of dusky green,
slight shade between sheen and unseen,
every firm branch and bending leaf,
moved slowly, breathing out relief.

A single bird gave one low call,
allowing ease to gently fall,
peace wrapped around like woven thread,
silently stitched with words unsaid.

Soft rustling wings in twilight’s blush,
no birdsong cuts velvety hush,
as somewhere near, a streamlet sighs,
reflecting stars, amethyst skies.

The air felt thick with dewy hues,
sweet scents made this day feel brand new,
drops of violet midnight rain,
sang stories etched in bark and grain.

No time goes lost on this pathway,
magical forest dipped in grace,
tranquility that twilight yields,
a purple-hazed mystical field.
