Inner Joy

The clearest path can go unseen,
follow the steps that feel serene.
Walk through nature, enjoy the green,
breathe the air so pure and so clean.

Hard to find joy,
looking around.
Run to decoys,
that pull bliss down.

Immersive eyes see in between,
doubts and fears could not intervene.
Feel glee rise from what is foreseen,
capturing this amazing scene.

Cheer and wonder,
buried inside.
Dig deep under,
where ego hides.

Create a road so bright and sheen,
up from the sky, life is a screen.
Take a new chance, break the routine,
make this flat dream, a trampoline.

  1. The last time i saw a path like that it was blocked. How you managed to clear it is a miracle.

The sharp contrast to the poem i wrote and this achievement is so vast.

Just trying to give you a unique, insightful comments. Hopefully you enjoy it as much as i enjoy your poetry.

  2. What a lovely poem Grace. I loved the last line about making this dream a trampoline and jump high from it. Thanks for joining in
