End Distress

Prevent their win,
clear pain within.
Do not let sins,
make your life spin.

Each thought you hold,
gives them control,
makes your heart cold,
weighing your soul.

To not forget
may bring regret,
try to reset
escape the net.

Traumas installed
keeps minds enthralled,
sadness recalled
make each day crawl.

Stained sorrows trace,
until replaced.
Power your days
as scars erase.

Let burdens fall
break down the walls,
stand proud and tall
as joys befall.

  1. The end of distress: interesting poem. It catches the imagination.

Most of these poems tell how you feel deep in your heart. A poem is an obvious reflection of self.

Here’s an idea for a poem: How would you paint me?

Your poems are so incredibly brilliant. I am wishing for that one poem is out of my of my reach.

    A significant memory.

    You have inspired me again.

    1. Thanks so much. Poems are ways of expressions. Not all of my poems are written about my own feelings, I often look at things from different perspectives or empathize with how others may feel. This particular one was inspired by the photo that Sadje put out as a prompt. So glad it inspired you. You should give her prompts a try. Such fun.💕

      1. Thanks for that. Any ideas where i can find her? I am busy with a huge project. Going to try and write as much poems as i can. Even if its 20 a day.

  2. Entire life rolled in poetry. You must be the most loved person in your area. ParaBrahman blesses you.

  3. A nice take, Grace! Your words are inspiring and motivating. This is truly an uplifting poem 😊💐💖
