Effortless Attempt

No one gains in standing by,
make a dent or simply try.
Pollution is ever high,
listen to nature’s loud cries.

Try to find a better way,
do my part to cause a sway.
Bicycle on this bright day,
flow through traffic, no delay.

Try to conquer this rat race,
do my part to change this place.
Exercise in perfect pace,
feel warm breeze caress my face.

Try to stand out from the fleet,
do my part to not deplete.
Zone out on these busy streets,
contribute to feel complete.

Try to let go and release,
do my part, help blight decrease.
Negative gives way to peace,
hopeful views swiftly increase.

One attempt quickly expands,
and helps others understand,
that this planet will withstand,
if we find a way to band.
