Dive In

Letters fly by,
circle quickly,
create new words,
that swim swiftly.
Make bold statements,
as they combine,
so I can choose,
which ones are mine.

Words choose to float,
around my head,
blurry visions
that go unread.
Paint bright pictures,
within my mind,
play vivid scenes,
scripted inside.

Motioned pictures,
rapidly show,
things I never,
knew I could know.
Opened wise eye,
logic thought blind,
see all answers,
details defined.

Response arrive,
before questions,
know concrete facts,
and intentions.
Helps my heart find
all keys it seeks,
feel vibrations,
in words, I speak.

Sit down to read,
right on aisle ground,
profound light blocks,
every last sound.
Satisfied thirst,
divine true source,
pure inner drive,
powerful force.

  1. A beautiful poem, Grace. You have such talent as a poet. Does it take you long to write a piece like this, or are your ideas in your head before you write them down? I hope you are well and looking forward to the holidays. Xx πŸ’“
