Destined Encounter

They met where eyes can not pretend,
a soft and sudden heartbreak’s end,
or maybe just the start, a thought,
as time stood still and shadows caught.

His smile was spun of sugar light,
as if he stepped from dreams at night,
the world grew pink and spun around,
angelic whispers swept the ground.

They walked through meadows made of rhymes,
where clocks forgot to produce time,
each word he spoke, a gentle spell,
their laugh, a place where wishes dwell.

Her heart, a book with golden thread,
now fluttered open, softly read,
with every glance, the pages turned,
in every step, her spirit burned.

She wasn’t sure what love should be,
but in his gaze, she danced carefree,
a girl inside a fabled scene,
where even air felt whipped and sweet.

Although the world may call it chance,
she knew she found true loves romance,
sweet fairy tale with colors loud,
and skies of cotton candy clouds.

  1. It is a celebration of love that is not rationalized, but lived, as if the soul knows something that the mind is just beginning to discover. A lyrical piece that reminds us that sometimes fairy tales are not so far from real life.

I send you a warm embrace from afar.
