Commute

Open the door,
travel through time,
adventures roar,
echo and chime.
always want more,
to feel sublime,
wishes all soar,
when faith is prime.

Travel the past,
What could be changed?
shifts and contrast,
are rearranged,
flies by so fast,
throughout each stage,
emotions last,
after they age.

Tomorrow comes.
What will it bring?
Infinite glum?
or blooming spring?
Pick up the crumbs,
moments that bling,
yesterday drums,
the future sings.

The moment nears,
capture it now.
Release old fears,
they fall and bow.
Joyful tears cheer,
take a true vow.
Bright days appear,
if thoughts allow.

  1. I really enjoyed this masterpiece. Your work is not only amazing but beautiful.

  2. Last stanza I’d full of hope and inspiration. A well crafted piece, Grace, once again πŸ‘πŸ’πŸ’–

  3. It’s so much fun when we are on that wonderful run of the sublime which you penned so brilliantly and reminded us to stay the course through these great lines when things take a turn.πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–
