Most parents want to give their all,
wipe every tear,
catch every fall.
Give their child what they never had,
satisfied smiles,
makes them feel glad.
But these actions may not be good,
with wants and needs,
misunderstood.
Try teaching lessons they can learn,
giving rewards,
for what they earn.
Easy access may devalue,
transforms humans,
into statues.
Erasing once felt sympathy,
blinding their heart
from empathy.
I share these words from my insight,
all are unique,
do what feels right.
