In between the heart and mind,
whispers can be hard to find.
hard to speak from deep inside,
proven truths feel so unkind.
In between the heart and mind,
ample taste formed by design,
rarely kept within the lines,
fun filled games run undefined.
In between the heart and mind,
stagnant thoughts fall far behind,
choices grasped if so inclined,
lights sting eyes tearfully blind.
In between the heart and mind,
loyal acts are ties that bind,
essence cascade till aligned,
past lingered times dance entwined.
In between the heart and mind,
inner conflicts are declined,
brilliant wisdom carry shine,
innocence perceived divine.
In between the heart and mind,
every universe combines,
strong connections synchronize,
bodies and souls intertwine.
