A snake will always be a snake,
shedding her skin, but not her ways.
Slithering swiftly on the ground,
poisonous tongue hissing around.
A worn disguise is just disguised,
enhancing how some feel inside.
Exposing what words cannot tell,
a falling mask, an outer shell.
A leopard never changes spots,
crawling through life while taking shots.
Observing while tiptoeing slow,
attacking prey, not letting go.
Originals are not copies,
experts of what they embody.
Creating itself well detailed,
true masterpiece, replicas fail.
A quacking duck is still a duck,
habits unchanged, even if plucked.
Swimming along with flapping wings,
forming a line within its kin.
All man made is unnatural,
often seeming irrational.
Unbalanced and just slightly off,
through a blurred lens, able to morph.
