Books consume her everyday,
wherever she goes they lay.
Drama, fable, fairytale,
magical adventures sail.
In the bathroom, on the bed,
visions cascade on her head.
Folklore, fiction, fantasy,
mental images hearts see.
Stories in the dining room,
imagination seeds bloom.
Mystery, mythology,
enthralling theology.
Cookbooks near the kitchen sink,
recipes within a blink.
Essays, poetry, short tales,
artistry made to prevail.
Collections rest in the den,
reads them all over again.
Horror, humor, history,
emotions cheer for glories.
On the mantle, fireplace,
offer a silent embrace.
Sci fi and biographies,
endless possibilities.
