Spirit of summer flies wildly,
spins through trees so joyfully,
impulsive in a floral dress,
trailing petals, entangled mess.
She leaps through fields with sunlit hair,
no thought to pause, nor time to care,
in breeze she rides, tall waves of dares,
long heated kiss in open air.
She runs without care, ever free,
her whisper shimmers sparks of glee,
flows through meadows, no plan or map,
sweet smile like a fire’s quick snap.
She drinks the dusk, hums songs at noon,
sings heartfelt tunes that touch the moon,
her laughter echoes, soft yet bold,
too bright to tame, too fierce to hold.
She leaves you dizzy, also blessed,
warm summer’s spell removes all stress.
you breathe her in, then lose your way,
a scent of lilac gone astray.
She strums the world with fleeting grace,
then vanishes without a trace.
her beauty stings, her warmth confounds,
intoxicating with no bounds.
