Most purrfect friend, answers my call,
clears away fears,
catches my fall.
Offers an ear, when times are sad,
provokes a smile,
to chase off bad.
A simple hug , makes life so good,
silent connection,
understood.
Paralyzed by what I have seen,
protective paw,
safety redeemed.
Silently still, like a statue,
sweet friendly meow,
brings peaceful hues.
Exposes shadows with pure light,
true empathy,
extends insight.
No longer feel like siting prey,
delightfully,
with yarn we play.
