Hidden Gem

Sunny days weave,
scars formed at night.
Closed eyes perceive,
turn old wrongs right.
Ego deceives,
consciousness fights.
Clear logic leaves,
she looses sight.

Wanders around,
deep guilt inside.
Wears a stale frown,
but with great pride.
Disguise falls down,
nowhere to hide.
Her voice is found,
suddenly cries.

Balances feet,
head held up high.
Feels inner heat,
reach to the sky.
Conquers defeat,
as insults fly.
Truly complete,
frustrations sigh.

Profound inhales,
tries to relax.
A slow exhales,
clears off attacks.
Peace never fails,
love fills all cracks.
True self prevails,
steps back on track.

A peaceful bell,
lingers soft chimes.
Bright bliss befell,
through endless time.
Body a shell,
expose divine.
Sorrows expel,
faithful hope shines.

Today’s Song

A song transports,
into the past.
Stay current to savor at last.
Old day dreams come,
and go so fast.
Both mind and heart dance in contrast.
Inhale today,
right now is here.
all past regrets have disappeared.
Cut yesterday,
release held fears.
This precious moment feels so clear.
Create a vow,
enjoy this time.
Let bright new laughter ring and chime.
Do not let life,
quickly pass by,
enjoy each second till eyes shine.
Loud music stops,
lyrics are mute.
The brain and soul ease their commute.
A friendship starts
without dispute.
Tomorrow soon comes to salute.

Unusual Companion

Exotic pet,
for all to see,
crocodile threat,
is quite unique.

Out of the box,
for how I think,
stared at by most
heart never shrinks.

Smooth attitude,
tongue in the air,
strong magnitude,
beyond compare.

Great distinct friend,
true gift of fun,
delights extend,
as boredom runs.

A concrete bond,
two beings share,
hearts see beyond,
synchronized pair.

Happiness pours,
sorrows abort,
hard to ignore,
cherished support.

Skylight

Charge earth with your presence,
beautiful, hazy moon,
enchant hearts with pure essence,
unveil buried cocoon.

Bless each crown with a kiss,
pretty, full, hazy moon,
deliver gifts of bliss,
magical daydreams swoon.

Chase away every fear,
precious, clear, hazy moon,
help release stagnant tears,
deep emotions monsoon.

Vibrate love upon all,
divine, bright, hazy moon,
shed light on each nightfall,
dance in sweet silent tunes.

Peacefully celestial,
majestic, hazy moon,
unfasten potential,
allow faith to balloon.

Shine wisdom , turn the key,
silvery, hazy moon,
set inhibitions free,
baptize life with soft hues.

Moonshine

Eye in the sky,
watch over me,
let dreams fly high,
as thoughts flow free.

Slippery Sun,
falls every dusk,
silver Moon runs,
gifts bring good luck.

Light from above,
guide eager steps,
brings divine love,
where ego crept.

Stillness so sweet,
beauty so rare,
bright and dark meet,
mystical flare.

Magical phase,
evening attire,
changes her face,
all hearts admire.

Visits each night,
twinkles bright shine.
offers delights,
insight unbinds.

Inner Whispers

Hums words with pictures,
set deep in her mind,
colors turn intense,
as she paints her rhymes.

Rhymes open deep zones,
that flow by non-stop,
they carry mixed tones,
quite smooth yet so sharp.

Sharp shadows that dance,
inside of her head,
link lyrics with tunes,
sewn tight with clear thread.

Thread made of blocked dreams,
that somehow feel real,
profound messages,
made of tarnished steel.

Steel polished stainless,
reflect pretty views,
finished so shiny,
yet still far from new.

New adventures loom,
with no start or end,
instantly expands,
to somehow extend.

Extends ever far,
blasts past time and space,
intricate designs,
with touches of grace.

Graceful tough lessons,
appear in great sums,
to sketch all portraits,
her silent words hum.

Little Artist

Embrace true joy,
creative ride,
timeout from noise,
lock it outside,

Art cheers inside,
begs to fly free,
colors decide,
to glide with glee.

Rainbow of oils,
palette at hand.
ideas boil,
no pre set plan.

Pretty bright tones,
help visions grow,
within a zone,
true passion flows.

White wall holds scenes,
gifted with paint.
like a machine,
without restraint.

Observe the brush,
move with great ease,
happily gush,
fine masterpiece.

Scholar

Great diligent student,
learns lessons to teach,
studies until fluent,
assures goals are reached.

Life is a grand classrooms,
her bright eyes, windows.
in her mind seeds bloom,
blossom like a rose.

As each hour passes,
dreams grow in real time,
her heart slowly dances,
to wisdoms loud chimes.

Villains in her story,
bask in jaded glory,
her shine clears despair,
shows them how to care.

Wipes away old tears,
obstacles decay,
analysis fears,
and the roles they play.

Smiles at worn past chapters,
used to guide new steps,
reviews every factor,
prepared for the next.

Endless Shadow

So hard to swallow,
uncertainty’s pill,
hearts can be hollow,
words stumble, thoughts spill.

Bright outlooks, numb pain,
deep rooted in chest,
smiles break buried chains,
daydreams help fears rest.

Shadows reflect souls,
mirrored to the core.
outbound from the whole,
to swiftly deplore.

Gigantic dim pride,
a well-disguised ploy,
difficult to hide,
never shy or coy.

True ingrained best friend,
endlessly there,
entwined to the end,
created to share.

Summon inner strength,
demand it to stay,
expand width and length,
with each passing day.

I Want…

I want to be it all,
bring in great success.
Want to be night fall,
give much needed rest.

I want to be the sun,
make all dull things bright.
Want to be the one,
transform “wrongs” to “rights”.

I want to be pure hope,
fight away all screams.
Want to help hearts cope,
paint beautiful dreams.

I want to offer trust,
unlock every cage.
Want to polish rust,
turn to a new page.

I want to be insight,
that kisses bowed heads.
Want to bring warm light,
let love touch and spread.
