Answers

Walk past our first real home,
memories stroll to then roam.
How does happiness just fade?
Was that time a masquerade?

Every question calls another,
each new thought expands much further.
Ponder on the reasons why,
no response will satisfy .

Curiosity takes over,
hopeful heart in need of closure.
Releases every unknown,
doubts all answer that are shown.

Constant voice asks who?, what?, where?
calling for unwanted cares,
opens up various doors,
resolutions search for more.

When will inquiries just stop?
How could self doubt quickly drop?
By believing wishes blown,
trusting inner sacred zones.

Wave goodbye to this old place,
true love never needs to chase,
feel so bright and good inside,
acceptance expands joy wide.

Mental Trip

Hop on a train,
to cross the bridge,
release all pain
embrace courage.

Wave at the past,
grasp all unknowns,
only times lived,
have answers shown.

Present today,
hug current state,
enjoy moment,
cling to blind fate.

Written future,
currently seen,
Modern ruler,
complex machine.

Goodbye worn days,
steam engine chimes,
dreams offer gains,
shreds prior crimes.

A pen in hand,
paper still blank,
chains left behind,
bring more to thank.

Tomorrow comes,
not set in stone,
each rising sun,
bring wishes blown.

Scars fall behind,
burns every track,
peaceful views find
light heals deep cracks.

Treasure Trove

Small hidden nook, must be unreal,
natural beauty with appeal.
Comforting feel,
a place to heal,
simply surreal,
seems so ideal.

Bright picture perfect pretty trails,
dazzling dreams sure to prevail.
Great goals set sail,
watch joys unveil,
relief exhaled,
pure bliss inhaled.

Azure blue lakes mimic the sky,
colorful birds hum lullabies.
Stars shine at night,
offer insight,
heart fills with light,
hopes fly like kites.

Sweet peaceful home within the hills,
clear magic fills hearts up with thrills.
Whimsical chills,
strengthens free will,
thoughts are tranquil,
serene and stil.

Brutally Honest

Pop bubble,
deflate balloon.
Rough troubles,
arrive too soon.
Pain doubles,
inner monsoon.
Clean rubble,
watch blood shot moon.

Bloody words,
escape my lips.
Fly like birds,
that fall and slip.
Look absurd,
clumsily trip.
Visions blurred,
perception flips.

Bled out sounds,
possessed quick tongue.
Left dry mouth,
fled empty lungs.
Tilted ground,
vibrations rung.
Sadness found,
where dreams begun.

Bleeding tunes
ring covered ears,
old thoughts swoon,
to expunge fears,
hopes typhoon
then release tears,
heart cocoons
while feeling clear.

Embrace cares,
fix crooked smile.
Mend despair,
reconcile trials,
Cracks repair,
owns distinct style.
Breathe fresh air,
pure joy compiles.

Blood filled songs,
finally healed,
cure all wrongs,
drop every shield,
thoughts prolonged
until revealed,
truth belongs
to what is real.

Aged Wisdom

Rice water dreams,
chase inner screams,
makes visions calm,
with homemade balm.

Coffee bean thoughts,
pour wars she fought,
lessons were strong,
to tune her song.

Coconut cream,
helps patience stream,
eases her mind,
clear hopes align.

Wrinkles of times,
ironed with lime,
through every trial,
she wore a smile.

Sugar cane beams,
unravel schemes,
offers free will,
happiness spills.

Sweetens bright days,
laughs pave her way,
sleeps well each night,
heart holds delight.

Inside Out

Thick stormy clouds control my mind,
the world I see feels so unkind.
Vile ugly acts spread great sorrows,
cracked concrete paths build tomorrow.

Tornadoes swirls ring in my ears,
sweep up my mind, release deep tears,
my heart and pulse quickly increase,
try to obtain some inner- peace.

Rain showers pour upon my head,
wonder if all kindness is dead.
Salted wounds hurt and make me scream,
wish all unjust was just a dream.

Bright rainbow views amaze my eyes,
feel profound hope swiftly arise,
faithful wishes are now defined,
know social change will soon align.

Warm sun ray lights, dry off my tears,
caresses heart, provides great cheer.
Blue skies become brighter and clear,
people can grow, progress each year.

My inner thoughts project outside,
I grasp the universe inside.
Pure love can turn wrongs into rights
if everyone tries to unite.

A New Path

Pays the toll to find new hope,
does not know which way to go.
Vivid visions help her cope,
sense of peace inwardly flows.

Runaway from all the pain,
positive thoughts fill her brain.
Every dream lives on this train,
future glistens without strain.

Time has come to find true joy,
she will not fall for decoys.
Refuses to be a toy,
no opinions, remain coy.

Free will lives within her hands,
she will leap to take a stand.
Every step will be so grand,
no longer caters demands.

This new start will sprout her seeds,
finally pure faith takes lead.
Clears away her inner weeds,
closes eyes as fate proceeds.

Travels through both time and space,
owns the smile on her proud face,
falls in love with bliss and grace,
as her life falls into place.

Deception

An out of reach castle,
shimmers from outside,
so cold, dark and hollow,
if viewed from inside.

Empty rooms feel shallow,
with no place to hide,
air too thick to swallow,
walls coated with pride.

Eyes fill up with darkness,
while hungry for light,
envy swift with sharpness
blurs away clear sight.

Laughter turns to harshness,
dims everything bright,
jealousy kills fondness,
hearts dance in dark spite.

Fingers on the handle,
brings instant insight,
ignites inner candle,
hearts climb to new heights.

Notice the bare mantle,
chipped paint, dusty white,
covets are all canceled,
life starts to feel right.

A new gained acceptance,
as all truths align,
self built independence,
unique by design.

Genuine acceptance
exposes great shine,
strong powerful essence,
selflove so divine.

Photographic Memories

Pictures live within his mind,
vivid scenes create a dance,
emotions swirl, then combine,
profound reminders enhance.

Gusty goals sing melodies,
strum his heart, whisper soft chimes,
flicker solid memories,
flow through blank, old hollow times.

Spin around, uncover veils,
mesmerized by silent tunes,
photographs expose great tales,
scented with timeless perfume.

Snapshots fall as seasons crash,
stagnant tears cascade like rain.
Night skies twinkle as stars flash,
pinch of light upon aged pain.

Years evaporate and pass,
minutes sway within the breeze,
hesitance wrapped in contrast,
box inner storms till they freeze.

Listen to peaceful raindrops,
images run through his head.
Instantly warm daydreams stop,
prints provide visions instead.

Out Of This World

Alienated, all alone,
beam me to another world.
Apathy constantly shown,
negative energy hurled.

Light dreams glisten my dull mind,
transport me to peaceful times.
Watch as sorrows fall behind,
only sweet memories chime.

Swallow tears that taste so sad,
float me to a distinct land.
Walk without a solid plan,
but hold hope within my hands.

Feel bliss flow like tranquil waves,
fly me to a better place.
Self esteem transforms to brave,
step away from the rat race.

Try hard not to fall apart,
take me to a serene spot.
Allow inner love to start,
finally connect the dots.

Faith takes goals out for a dance,
teleport then firmly stands.
Grant all dreams a second chance,
let bright fantasies expand.
