A glowing spark
fills up the air.
I see your light
in every stare

Presence exudes
a stardust hue.
Droplets of you
create my view.

I search above
fluorescent stars,
to feel your wink
when you are far.

I see your smile
light up the sky.
A mystic ache
swells up my eyes.

A deep sorrow
stands in my throat.
You are now gone
I hold your coat.

Shadow my thoughts
I feel you near.
Never alone
this day each year

Infinite Dad (Published at The Writers Club)

Protective teacher, greatest friend,
infinite bond without an end.
Before each fall your hand extends.
My wrongs and rights you would defend.

With just one look, into my eyes,
you knew all truths I tried to hide.
Always candid, laughed at my lies,
so many fights that made you sigh.

A mix of strength and affection
taught me great faith with direction.
You made life safe, gave protection,
an ultimate mute connection.

Your heart my home with open doors,
festive embrace that I adored,
sincerest love felt at my core,
stories you told made me want more.

Walked by my side showed me you cared,
gave me advice, wisdom you shared,
ignited light made sure I dared,
then you were gone, I felt so scared.

Now you are free from any pain,
I celebrate memories gained,
your body is gone, essence remains,
nothing can break our strong linked chain.

Counting down the hours
till you say goodbye.
Like a withered flower,
feeling cold and dry.
Sweet thoughts become sour,
good memories die.
Visions hold such powers
deep within sad eyes.
Tears transform to showers,
clearing clouds inside.
Pride stands like a tower,
weaknesses all hide.

Counting down the seconds
until you arrive.
Thanking deep connection
that our hearts survived.
Angels up in heaven
help intentions thrive,
giving us direction
so that love can drive.
Absorbing affection
that light beams provide.
Pieces of perfection,
forever alive.

Your hug on a cold winter night,
warms my soul up,
makes my eyes shine,
offers secure,
cozy delight,
fits flawlessly, perfect design.

You ease my fears,
obstacles clear,
wishes appear,
when you are near.

Your steady breath relaxes me,
rhythmic patterns,
puts me to sleep,
grateful to be,
basking in peace,
pure fulfillment that runs so deep.

You show you care,
by being there,
a knowing stare,
that makes hearts dare.

Your essence will outlive your stay,
so “very strong”,
grows everyday,
cures every wrong,
with love and grace,
constantly in my heart always.

You make life right,
extend pure light,
provide insight,
sparkling bright.

All the time, day and night,
swallow thoughts, false and true.
Second guess, wrong or rights,
shed distress, old and new.

Take a step, dark or light,
make mistakes, one or two.
Moon still shines, shades of bright,
provides joys also blues.

Follow paths, black and white,
color in unseen views.
Loving hearts hug and fight,
decide to clear or fuse.

Tie my heart, loose or tight
forget where? what? or who?
Intertwine, kiss, and bite,
accepting me and you.
