Brotherhood

Warm tight embrace to represent,
a tie so strong could not be bent,
all arguments swiftly amend,
true loyalty will never end.

Always sincere, no room for lies,
pure honesty shoots from inside,
camaraderie lives in your eyes,
touches my heart, provokes deep sighs.

Brotherly love is what I see,
acceptance lets our thoughts fly free,
connection will forever be,
likeminded souls, known to agree.

Let’s laugh at times from our past,
a youthful space with no contrast,
imagined games, endlessly last,
enjoy this life, always a blast.

Expect the best, from dawn to dusk,
endless friendship was built on trust,
each day is good as time adjusts,
infinite bond will never rust.

Strong bond transports,

Plush existence separates,
at times anger punches hate,
frustrations disintegrate,
guilty smiles makes all days great.

Satisfy deep inner wants,
cast off negative response,
sweep away arrogant acts,
shine insight to outline facts.

Accept me with all I do,
know my love is always true,
emotions obstruct clear views,
profound journey chases clues.

Yours truly, made a change,
invented myself new,
took charge of my own stage,
to me, I must be true.

All energy within,

now destined for great wins,

This new me always laughs,
likes to dance and enjoy,
no longer feel like half,
filled up every last void.

Some thunderstorms crash hard,
to clear up hidden wounds.
at times a single drop,
can feed a whole commune.

Why cry and carry pain?
Instead, let go and heal,
life should be filled with gain,
not problems and ordeals.

Each breath will come and go,
decades can feel so brief,
lessons have helped me grow,
pushed to turn a new leaf.

Handful

Family is like a hand,
silent oaths form solid bands,
rare roles print on each finger,
bad times fade, true love lingers.

Index leads wise as can be,
points out fears all eyes can see,
flaps around, plans go astray,
joins a thumb to say “okay.”

Thumb is strong and goes the length,
helps with grip to show off strength,
comforts infants, rests in mouths,
silences cries, eases pouts.

Young pinky, runt of the pups,
helps gain control, holding cups,
gambler, loves to take quick bets,
entwined until stakes are set.

Middle is hard to control,
known to often stands alone,
rude to times, playful to some ,
kisses thumb to snaps for fun.

Ring finger holds great beauty,
gains attention with jewelry,
endless pledge, gives it her all,
blessed with gems, always stands tall.

Close knit home, pure love provides,
honest care, comes from all sides,
darkness out, positive stands,
comforts rest within each hand.
