What Did The Fox Say?

Satisfaction guarantee,
hungry tummy,
turns mind’s key.

Fluff up fur to turn charm up,
hope sympathy,
fills bare cup.

Walk around try not to stare,
notice fear,
makes large eyes glare.

Find refuge amongst lush trees,
as they eat,
happy and free.

Watch picnickers enjoy feast,
pray their garbage,
feeds starved beast.

Yummy scents dance in the air,
opens faith,
removes all cares.

Twilight visits stakeout ends,
trash is full,
it’s time to fend.

Fulfillment arrives to stay,
gratified,
in every way.

Inner Change

So difficult to recognize,
the look that lives within her eyes.
A knowing stare,
blank fiery glare,
afraid to dare,
full of despair.

Unable to just sit and sigh,
then fall asleep on comfy lies,
searches for proof,
swims in pure truth,
irons till smooth,
seamlessly soothes.

Refuses to chew on hurtful hate,
all past resentments left to fate,
strong will proceeds,
at lightning speed,
jumps to succeed,
climbs and exceed.

Must learn to balance light and dark,
unfastens fears, brightening sparks,
Forever brave,
breaks heavy chains,
ignites the flames,
erases shame.

Promises to answer inner calls,
all of her senses stand up tall,
builds what she sees,
flow with the breeze,
infinite peace,
offers great ease.

A solemn vow to spread warm light,
extend her hand, help hearts unite.
Throws a long rope,
helps others cope,
tilts all steep slopes,
provides great hope.

True Love Cafe

Euphoria flutters inside,
excitement flies, too strong to hide,
a smile arises, pure and wide,
deep joyful bliss arrives to guide.

Profound senses become aware,
new zest for life swims in the air,
race out the door without a care,
emotions run beyond compare.

Dreams of “what will be”, here today,
giant surprise is on the way,
a long lost love is here to stay,
hearts reconcile in a cafe.

A loud knock pounds out of their chests,
minds do not know what to expect,
they both decide to take steep steps,
vow not to let fears interject.

Time stands so still, stares lock in place,
old stories written on their face,
souls interlock in deep embrace,
to share love, light, joy, and true grace.

A bit of happiness at last,
forgiveness clears tales from the past,
devotion blooms, peace spreads so fast,
future secure, bright, sweet, and vast.

Self- Forgiveness (Published at Spillwords)

With lowered eyes
and a hushed mouth,
silence my sighs,
while in mid route.

Plastered smiles fly,
push sorrows down.
Happy disguise,
covers deep frowns.

Frantic inside,
loud voices shout,
hurt and chastised,
in and throughout.

Draw breath in tight,
knees hit the ground,
faith flows up high,
angelic sounds.

Sweat beads baptize,
hopes swirl around,
wishes arise,
dissolving clouds.

Stop to revise
regrets and doubts.
Life provides light,
that clear and sprout.

Overpass

Gone too long, back home at last,
journey reconciles the past,
memories, brought back great smiles,
fuchsia skies follow for miles.

Pathways transform into slides,
brightly colored magic rides,
cross the bridge, tears left behind,
lessons learned wrapped in deep pride.

Old wounds transform into stars,
shine above erase all scars,
ugly times swiftly buried,
rosy sun rays chase worries.

Suddenly life feels so well,
create tales others can tell.
close both eyes, absorb glories,
open them, write new stories.

Insight blooms visions are clean,
heart consumes this gorgeous scene,
inhale this magenta view,
fully rise, strong and renewed.

Bound Warriors

Adventures past where winds have blown,
each taken step, we must now own,
distractions fade, egos has flown,
awareness travels through strong bones.

Emotions stand, still as a stone,
embrace each thought, joint sacred zone,
speak up then grasp feminine throne,
diverse powers finally shown.

Built to confront every unknown,
then heal all pain, so tears are sewn,
our time is now, must not postpone,
respond to calls from inner phone.

Insecure guilts swiftly atone,
regrets all die, shame is outgrown,
united hearts, never alone,
reveal visions brave souls have known.

Once Again

Life transcends,
dreams linger, bells ring.
One life ends,
another begins.

One life ends,
another begins.
Souls descend,
inhabit new skin.

Perfect blend,
connects every limb.
One life ends,
another begins.

One life ends,
another begins.
Faith ascends,
prepares to gain wins.

Acts amend,
absolves all past sins.
One life ends,
another begins.

One life ends,
another begins.
Light extends,
tales circle then spin.

Tilt

What clear eyes see,
help cure disease,
judgmental breeze,
make pure hearts flee.

Yearn for fair ways,
to find escapes,
flush colored tapes,
bias at bay.

Ducks, swim, quack, sway,
in the same way,
another day,
to gladly play.

Thoughts choose to heal,
from the unreal,
new world reveals,
bright friendships seal.

Acceptance seed,
forces agree,
wishes concede,
to set love free.

A higher voice,
offers a choice,
act like a toy,
or create joy.

Dreams become true,
wise minds pursue,
from what souls knew,
acceptance grew.

Floral Arrangements

Sachets of flowers,
made from pressed bouquets,
intricate thoughts knot,
old stories replay.

Lavender day dreams
bless distracted minds ,
soothes away pressures
encaged deep inside.

Jasmine enhancements,
sweeten angry hues,
pastel enchantments,
help heartaches diffuse.

Sunflowers display,
warmth from the bright sky,
lights up cloudy days,
gives hope to sad eyes.

Garland of roses,
holds endless beauty,
feed hungry noses,
so naturally.

As tomorrow blooms,
petals and tears fall,
yesterday’s perfume,
brings comfort to all.
