Warning

Crimson skies report a threat,
nature will collect all debts.
Smokey clouds appear upset,
warnings came but reached neglect.

Everyone could have done more,
but instead chose to ignore.
If they knew what was in store,
would they listen to their core?

Now the future stands in place,
regrets and shame interlace,
Conservation soon embraced,
so mistakes can be erased.

Present times form future news,
try hard to preserve bright views.
Can we refrain from abuse,
learn to live without misuse?

Statements of Love

Love is patient also kind,
but can play with trusting minds.
If perceived plastic or fake
quickly crumbles, falls, then breaks.

Does not envy or boast proud,
but can make hearts walk on clouds.
Fantasy can blind bright eyes,
illusions turn into sighs.

Not self-seeking, never rude,
but can ferment once it’s brewed.
Grows and spreads from a small crumb,
at times makes logic feel dumb.

Hardly angered, clears mistakes,
but can soar once it awakes.
Shatters molds to gain control,
lays dormant in every soul.

Repels evil, revels truth
but can also heal and soothe.
Blankets sorrows with great warmth,
prepares views so joys set forth.

Divine and one of a kind,
always perfectly designed.
Often chased and sought by all,
appears when no longer called.

confusion runs intertwined.

point fingers to cover lies.
Narrative can sounds so sure,
deadly poisons sold as cures.

heat his hands as hopes arise.
Helps him regain his control,
contributes within his role.

forces faith to travel high.
Prays tomorrow turns out great,
ties his wishes on to fate.

Walk under vanilla skies,
expectations fall behind,
tall shadow conveys surprise,
beauty perfectly designed.

Connection ties to then bind,
excitement flies up so high.
Feel love fill body, soul, mind,
endless joy gleams from our eyes.

Immense figure, wanders free,
standing taller than a tree,
lowered head, bows towards me,
admiration turns my key.

Encounter that came by chance,
swirled emotions, made hearts dance.
Inhaled vision, one last glance,
exhaled, watched hooves swiftly prance.

Lactarius Indigo

So rare to find the color blue,
in nature, below skies.
Deep waters carry aqua hues,
bright sea green tints swim high.

I ran into a blue mushroom,
during my morning walk,
amazement caused my eyes to zoom,
beauty from cap to stalk.

Quickly snapped pictures from afar,
excited head to heel.
Suddenly noticed reddish scars,
then knew these were not real.

Chuckled inside, tilted my head,
huge caps were much too round,
although my hopes had fallen dead,
inspiration was found.

In Complete

Transparency is all he knows,
yet emotions are rarely shown,
from past mistakes, wisdom has grown,
his inner light outwardly shone,

On rainy nights, when skies were dark,
the bright in him would lose all spark,
sad anchored thoughts always embark,
cemented feet securely park.

Spectators come with everyday,
they posed with him in distinct ways,
he listened to the words they say,
left all alone in great dismay.

Complaints consume their hearts and soul,
always so scared to lose control,
ungrateful that they could take strolls,
with what they have he would feel whole.

He counts the blessings that he has,
within his mind, dances to jazz,
walks, runs, and skips through flowered paths,
moves legs, head, feet, along with hands.

Stands tall, proud, yet, ever so still,
allows his day dreams to climb hills,
imagination a great skill,
brings core to life, wishes fulfill.

Hopes gravitate, faith helps improve.

Can bright actions design new maps?

Do kind deeds help warm light expand?
Positive thoughts always enhance.
Will this appease the need for more?
A brand new view can open doors.

Sweat off the brows brings a new day.
Can shiny worlds sweep gloom away?
Allow the conscience to be right.
Does fate offer paths to insight?

Is night and day a true contrast?
Perceptions can be made up fast.
Can opposites ever rejoin?
Duality is a flipped coin.

Sun dances in showers of rain.
Does self acceptance wash off pain?
Feel good inside from head to feet.
Can inner love make hearts complete?
