Flip Around

I paint my life in shades of black,
to omit cracks left on my track.
So no one sees the pain I hide,
stuck deep inside, my solemn guide.

I add some white, my days turn gray,
balanced displays, hope peace could stay.
But still my thoughts are awful jokes,
made up of smoke, swallow and choke.

I play pretend add yellow hues,
it sticks like glue, changing my view.
It makes the path ahead feel right,
moments turn bright, even at night.

Mineral spirits thin the paint,
without complaints or self restraints.
Let all things go so time flies free,
turn inner key, to guarantee.

Inhale salty ocean waves,
exhale sorrows, feel so brave,
focused views help minds behave,
goals set sail, gain what hearts crave.

A full breath deep thoughts take flight,
clear away anger and spite.
Self-made strength creates warm light,
inner depth makes it shine bright.

Sunny skies highlight the breeze,
serene hues carry great peace,
reach up high grasp wisdom keys,

Brotherhood

Warm tight embrace to represent,
a tie so strong could not be bent,
all arguments swiftly amend,
true loyalty will never end.

Always sincere, no room for lies,
pure honesty shoots from inside,
camaraderie lives in your eyes,
touches my heart, provokes deep sighs.

Brotherly love is what I see,
acceptance lets our thoughts fly free,
connection will forever be,
likeminded souls, known to agree.

Let’s laugh at times from our past,
a youthful space with no contrast,
imagined games, endlessly last,
enjoy this life, always a blast.

Expect the best, from dawn to dusk,
endless friendship was built on trust,
each day is good as time adjusts,
infinite bond will never rust.

Take a dip and be surprised,

close both eyes and feel so strong.
Miracles slowly appear,

Quality Time

Strong bond transports,
beyond long past,
stay current to savor at last.
Old day dreams come,
then fly by fast,
while hearts and minds dance in contrast.
Enjoy today,
right now is here,
allow regrets to disappear.
Burn yesterday,
release held fears,
this present moment feels so clear.
A solid vow,
sewn to mend time,
bright new laughter rings till it chimes.
Savor this life,
as days pass by,
enjoy each second till eyes shine.
Inner thoughts stop,
peacefully mute,
both brain and soul ease their commute.

opens heavy gates.
Star flecked cosmos align,

Comfortable like a rag doll,
confidante, devoted pal,
tea time comes to play dress up,
fantasy fills empty cups.

Love me just the way I am,
no corrections or demands,
reflective views from my eyes,
helps self esteem fly up high.

Plush existence separates,
at times anger punches hate,
frustrations disintegrate,
guilty smiles makes all days great.

Satisfy deep inner wants,
cast off negative response,
sweep away arrogant acts,
shine insight to outline facts.

Accept me with all I do,
know my love is always true,
emotions obstruct clear views,
profound journey chases clues.

Pull the anchor, sail life’s boat,
let it go till true self floats,
watch actions reflect bright soul,
regain power, gain control.
