Another message left unsaid,
all hopeful thoughts, now buried dead.
Just one more dream that has been drowned,
as drops of sweat bounce off the ground.

So many efforts hit the dirt,
mouthful of sand cause endless thirst.
Exhausted tries make hearts resent,
no room to hope for what comes next.

Close eyes so tight, let it all go,
let pressures fall, release control.
Feel energy rise up ahead,
positive vibes instantly spread.

Bubbly soft suds unclog worn ears,
warming cold hearts with salty tears.
Good – natured will, gives one more try,
nothing to lose, good luck complies.

Efforts given effortlessly,
navigate life so happily.
To want for nothing, gains it all,
no need to fear possible falls.

Shed false worries for tomorrow,
chip away possible sorrows.
Every last gain is meant to be,
disappointments can set goals free.

Prompt – Good – Natured

Release negative.
Attempt to balance each day.
Inhale positive.

Walk the Dog

Wait around for our walk,
on the phone, laugh as you talk.
Fanny pack with yummy treats,
cannot wait to hit the streets.

Full bladder prevents my jump,
need to potty, hurry up.
Finally you grab house keys,
picture my favorite tree.

Restroom seems to call your name,
is this just a twisted game.
Desperation guides my bark,
when will we get to the park.

Hear your footsteps come up close,
watch you smile at my slumped pose.
Excitement greets your “Let’s go”,
run along, you walk too slow.

A loyal best friend.
An unspoken connection.
Give a dog a bone.

Nature’s Guard

Oceans dribble regrets,
so faint no one could hear,
a coast with so much depth,
absorbing salty tears.

Gray clouds cry and lament,
sadness writes on the sand.
Cold raindrops represent,
emotions hearts have banned

Swim through the rough waters,
migrating towards luck,
blessing every quarter,
where tough lessons once struck.

Form a revolution
guided by warm sunshine,
swords made of rose bushes,
butterfly army lines.

Greet a clear brighter dawn,
sorrows are laid to rest,
stronger boundaries drawn,
to conquer inner test.

Nature does her duty,
pollution soon refrains.
Earth maintains her beauty,
and provides life with gains.

A poem a day,
clears heartaches away,
releases stale cares,
hopes swallow despair.

A phrase on a page,
can bring love or rage,
rollercoaster ride,
is felt deep inside.

A simple short rhyme,
erases hard times,
soothe trails that were tough,
paint pictures with touch.

A poem a day,
let emotions play,
clears off salty tears,
allows joy to steer.

A message of hope,
expands narrow scope,
profound thoughts are read,
perceptions are spread.

A portrait of words,
help feelings get heard,
visions flow with ease,
image can brings peace.

Pick and Choose

If unhappy, make a switch,
change dimensions nice and swift.
Play some music dance so free,
forming what you choose to see.

If unhappy, make a switch,
change dimensions nice and swift.
Sniff a flower, close both eyes,
anchored hearts will flutter high.

If unhappy, make a switch,
change dimensions nice and swift.
Wash both hands then take a breath,
get in tune with inner strength.

If unhappy, make a switch,
change dimensions nice and swift.
Open up, learn to perceive,
happiness can be received.

If unhappy, make a switch,
change dimensions nice and swift.
Let things go, remove all frowns
so that life can turn around.

If unhappy, make a switch,
change dimensions nice and swift.
Fulfillment can be a choice
guided by a silent voice.
