Eternal Sunshine

Erase your presence from my mind,
your smile, your laugh, frustrated sighs,
the way your glance made me feel high,
worn memories that made me cry.

Erase the promises you made,
such heartfelt words you soon betrayed,
rough arguments with tear cascades,
synchronized breaths we shared embraced.

Erase your lingered scent from me,
along with visions I still see,
remove the days that made us “we”,
so my heartache can find some ease.

Erase your love in every sense,
but true love always finds defense,
protective force is so immense,
it comes back growing more intense.

Utopia

In a vast and endless plain,
infinite as the blue sky,
lets remove imposed restrain,
allow our free souls to fly.

In an ocean dense and wide,
wider than the universe,
we create the strongest boat
so our souls can reassert.

Darkest black colored plateau,
made so dark it almost shines,
our hearts paint a loving home,
chalky white and well refined.

Letting joy fuel our drive,
end the night, avoiding time.
We will skip, then jump and dive,
dancing to loud inner chimes.

Twinkling like a bright jewel,
nothing can obstruct our view.
Build a world made of our rules,
formed to please both me and you.

As we shimmer more than stars,
winded lovers become one.
Felt devotion near and far,
sleeping soundly with the sun.

Skies were dark, gray, and cloudy,
all alone, I screamed so loudly.
Silenced ears heard sharp sounds made,
all alone, feeling insane.

Surrounded by laughing toys,
all alone, my screams deployed.
No one heard a word I said,
all alone, holding my head.

No one notices my eyes,
all alone, my screams are high.
Everyone dancing so free,
all alone, scream on my knees.

Skies were bright the sun arrived,
all alone, my screams survived.
Learning how to heal inside,
all alone, old tears ran dry.

Felt a presence, say hello,
all alone, my scream hummed low.
Instant ease feeling great care,
all alone, no longer scared.

Opened up my beating heart,
all alone, my screams depart.
Precious gift sent from above,
all alone, found inner love.

Love

Love is like a tiny spec, in a puffed cloud,
an awakening faith with a silent vow.
It’s a paused drop of peace, that awaits a fall,
or bells from a distance that answer when called.

Love will move you inside, and make you want more,
an intrusive event that clutches your core.
It lifts you up high, so you’re floating around,
then abruptly stops, so all hopes hit the ground.

Love hurts and it burns, flows lava through your veins,
builds false illusions, to then laugh at your pain.
It flutters you quickly, to destiny’s edge,
then brings you right back with an unspoken pledge.

Love is an ember, that flickers and fades,
it is misted by rain and becomes a stain.
A destroyer of sense, that dissolves all wit,
yet all drown in desires to return to it.

Love is infinite light, felt inside the chest,
a soft soothing touch that can pass any test.
It’s the “maybe in time”, that chases each goal,
adored preservation that sprouts in all souls.

Love is felt throughout, and at times can be seen,
it’s the dark, the light, and the gray in between.
Eternally travels, through the universe,
until it lands on earth to cure all dire thirst.

Give and Take

I come to you with opened arms,
to keep you safe from any harm.
I shield your heart with my heartbeat,
and fill your lungs with air I breathe.
I close my eyes give yours a rest,
then run through time and pass all tests.
I run in place, wait while you crawl,
to keep my pace and catch your falls.

We stay in place to catch our falls,
and always run we never crawl.
We get straight A’s on all our tests,
so we can laugh till we need rest.
We play on earth and watch her breathe,
dance to the sound of her heartbeat.
We are both safe away from harm,
emitting light with opened arms.

I see a warped world
inside of your eyes
I wipe my own tears
before you could cry
I lose my breath
before you can sigh
I smile when I see
yours slowly arise

I split myself
divided in two
I catch your head
hold it high for you
I clear the ugly
from all of your views
I transform lies
and make them all true

I follow you
just like a shadow
I humble you
when you act shallow
I love you through
your highs and then lows
I fuel your heart
when it beats too slow

I kiss your soul
inhale it at sight
I soothe your thoughts
hold on to them tight
I cover you
and emit pure light
I merge with you
till we both shine bright
