Reinvent (Published at the Writers Club)

Inward creation,
requires isolation,
some contemplation,
and imagination.

Pure transformation
needs great concentration,
determination,
deep communication.

Forced separation
is an obligation,
for liberation,
from lingered temptations.

Re-evaluations,
Inner calculations
provide directions,
towards destinations.

Self-restoration,
rehabilitation,
needs motivation,
and firm affirmations.

Purification,
brings clarification,
illumination,
shines bright inspiration.

Desires (Published at the Writers Club)

Lush green grass is somehow greener,
when viewed from the other side.
Conflicted, jealous daydreamer,
peeks through life, unsatisfied.

Such excitement while obtaining
every craving and all wants,
brand new shine is always fading
tarnishing unfulfilled hearts.

Squinting eyes comparing visions,
stagnantly running in place.
Everyone has their own mission,
conquered at a distinct pace.

Feelings of dissatisfaction
will attract more of the same.
Gratitude as a reaction
can ignite an inner flame.

Dire thirst, fulfilled with raindrops,
does not need a waterfall,
neither one choosing to make swaps,
both content to serve their cause.

Everybody has their own path,
as each finger wears a print.
Do not covet another’s catch
leaving bright light for mere glints.

Wonderland (Published at The Writers Club)

A bright and endless paradise,
leaps from my mind to touch the sky,
no gravity, visions float high,
allows each soul to freely fly.

Above the land, where nothing hides,
paradise hugs the universe,
a place where divine love resides,
so peaceful joy can be dispersed.

A midnight black colored plateau,
so dark it reflects outer shines,
united hearts paint a fine home,
bright chalky white, precise design.

Consistent bliss fuels every strive,
effortlessly expands through time.
Happiness skips, to jump, then dive,
swiftly dances to heartfelt chimes.

Contentment fills up every pore,
each breath releases blissful hues.
Satisfaction does not crave more,
each passing day brings different views.

Soft twinkles shimmer more than stars,
connections dictate what will come.
A felt devotion clears all scars,
enjoying life under the sun.

Unveiling (Published at The Writers Club)

Life is a masked ball,
a disguise for cheats.
Costumes always fall,
exposing concrete.
Some will want no end
to their masquerade,
comforts play pretend,
truth makes them afraid.

I too was a clown,
living in a lie,
till I heard the sounds,
of my heartbeats cry.
I made my life real
facing all I knew,
I then learned to feel
clearing all my views.

Push all masks aside
unveil a new life,
the soul will then guide,
shielding inner strife.
Laughs will sound sincere,
all smiles become pure,
joys also appear,
once pretend is cured.

Presence (Published at The Writers Club)

Shadow dancer
come guide my stroll,
open a place,
where we can go.

Walk through dry walls,
run up the stairs,
look in my mind,
help my soul dare.

Expose mystique,
life tries to hide,
swept off my feet,
your light unblinds.

Share tunes with me,
my beat is yours,
blend harmony,
our hearts beat pure.

Shadow dancer
please do not fade,
roam free all night,
linger all day.

Essence so clear,
yet filled with spark,
erase all fears,
felt in the dark.

Nobody (Published at The Writers Club)

Dancing to
the sounds of raindrops,
while they flood my
washed up shoes.
I can hear as
bells are ringing,
people run to
pay their dues.

I resist
but can not hide
as a tear
reaches my eye.
Sway around
move to the rhythm
of the droplets
falling down.

Failed to stop
I keep on moving
as my clothes
feel like the lake.
Never felt
exhilaration
crash so hard
my body shakes.

Felt a stillness
taking over
making this
my final dance.

Bitting hard
pierced my own lip
thanks to hope
received a chance.
