Sweet Honey View

Tangerine hues
gleam up ahead,
sweeps away blues
kills sorrows dead.

Gold tinted views
conquer all dread,
makes hearts feel new,
so peace can spread.

Wrongs become right,
from dusk till dawn,
Smiles twinkle bright,
negatives gone.

Spirit shines warm
with amber light,
daydreams transforms
into plain sight.

Clear wishes fly,
hopes float so high,
touch orange skies,
release deep sighs

Awakened eyes
see natural signs,
visions comply
strong knots untie.

Post Holiday Smiles

The morning after Christmas,
life is filled with joyful cheer,
as grownups mind their business,
I see cousins are still here.

Wraps and ribbons in the trash,
sounds of laughter loudly crash,
breakfast eaten in a dash,
memories built in a flash.

Hope yesterday continues,
it was blessed with blissful fun,
present times bask in its hues,
as we play outside and run.

Warm sun gives in to moonlight,
hear goodbyes, “Thanks for invite”,
as we hug each other tight,
hesitate but say goodnight.

Artist

A prolific heart must create,
internal flows will then translate.
A sacred zone in a lost state,
astounding forces dominate.

No need to forge what others think,
self valued thoughts form in a blink.
Artistic views building great links,
a masterpiece can never sink.

Original, one of a kind,
entrancing hands quickly design.
A second glance to redefine,
image composed within the mind.

Distinct intentions swim with ease,
ideas encaged can now fly free.
Imagination crafts the key,
exposes views for all to see.

Sanctuary

Peaceful dreams drop,
on her head.
Skylight rooftop,
help fears shed.

Serene music
in her ears.
Therapeutic
chase all fears.

Bite lower lip,
deep in thought.
Memory trip,
lessons taught.

Inner laughter
tickles soul,
ever after
happy goals.

Visualize smiles,
close both eyes,
intentions pile,
dreams arise.

Relaxation,
soothes her pores.
Jubilation,
opens doors.

Secret View

Invisible door,
eyes softly explore,
existence true core
along with much more.

Quick glance into life,
perfectly divine,
quite tough to describe,
intricate design.

A mystical flare,
surprise makes hearts stare,
thoughts float in the air,
nature stands so rare.

Dreams glimmer bright sparks,
breeze erases dark,
a unique birthmark,
innate work of art.

Let go and exhale,
as emotions sail,
release every fail,
pure peace is inhaled.

Clear goals swiftly form,
what days will perform,
ease up inner storms,
so spirit feels warm.

Follow the Path

Under the moon,
cobblestone path,
bright peaceful swoon,
clears inner wrath.

Each step feels right,
magical ride,
provides insight,
spiritual guide.

Dark shades of blue,
slowly surround,
faith offers clues,
hopes dance around.

Under the moon,
light houses shine,
warm love cocoons,
wishes align.

Dreams fly a kite,
ambitions land,
joyful delight,
cascade on hands.

Infinite views,
flash so profound,
ignite a fuse,
that slept so sound.

Turn Around

Never thought this is, what would be,
reflections stare right back at me,
to challenge what my blurred eyes see,
old encaged thoughts drift to fly free.

My hot blood flows like windy seas,
with pressure of a narrow stream,
present times erase all past dreams,
hopes choke on muffled barks and screams.

Tomorrow’s goals roam to then flee,
too tired to chase after keys,
the future never guarantees,
today holds what blank minds foresee.

Thoughts of a bone ignites pure glee,
energy guides where bright steps lead,
mirrored paths dig up hopeful seeds,
a sense of pride produce sweat beads.

Inner rewards provide great peace,
happiness flows with serene ease,
sit still like a wise ancient tree,
feel my tail dance within the breeze.

Footsteps arrive so suddenly,
to bring treats and rub my belly,
blissful daydreams buzz like a bee,
to paint bright possibilities.

Devoted

Strong little girl,
walks all alone,
shiny rare pearl,
kicks up loose stones.

Cute plushy pet,
her closest friend,
softness reflects,
power transcends.

Carries her toy,
great lion heart,
a gift of joy,
will soon impart.

The world she sees,
holds distinct views,
prays unity,
helps hate defuse.

Empathy tugs,
her giant soul,
she offers hugs,
bright warmth consoles.

Does what she can,
then helps some more,
love builds her plans,
to cure all wars.

Endlessly blessed,
her path is clear,
happy smiles spread,
and feel sincere.

Deep wishful thoughts,
forever kind,
sweet actions caught,
peace intertwines.

One More Try

Just needs a break, for her past crimes,
heartfelt mistakes, have served their time.
Dark inner fears, prevent new tries,
no one could hear, loud hidden cries.

Open doors slam, before her face,
obstruct all plans, slow down swift pace.
Head in her hands, torn and disgraced,
tries to withstand, all hopes defaced.

Arms in the air, prays to forget,
life is not fair, swallows regret.
Searches for signs, to pay off debts,
fate soon aligns, to release threats.

Gathers free will, strength to believe,
climbs steeper hills, to heal held grief.
Bright lights fulfill, heartbeat perceives,
forgives past spills, instant relief.

Tricky Treat

Hours passed slow, visions flew fast,
giggled upon our youthful past.
Remembered a specific time,
hear happy thoughts echo and chime.

Halloween sheets, painted lyrics,
pretended to defy physics.
Tried hard to form a spooky day,
instead decided we should play.

Shadowed visions brought on a scare,
to those that walked by unaware.
Homemade costumes lead us to coast,
as we appeared to swiftly float.

Wide eyes believed they witnessed ghosts,
we held in laughs of prideful boasts.
Arrogance climbed higher plateaus,
congratulating our egos.

Till mysteries unraveled quick,
everyone noticed air flow tricks.
Submerged into a different space,
cherry red cheeks greeted our face.

We snapped back to reality,
aware of our mortality.
Felt free from all mystical spells,
instant relief, disguises fell.
