Close my eyes and ears.
Listen and observe within.
Move past obstacles.

Clears

What goes up
must come down,
even clowns
can own frowns,
even snakes
shed their skin,
letting go
all old sins.

Black and white
can shade grays,
opposites
fun at play,
skip around
sun and rain,
adding ease
to all pain.

Find True Self
in your eyes,
releasing
your disguise,
look beyond
what is shown,
opaque paths
start to glow.

Mope or fly,
laugh and cry.
This whole world
is your ride.
Feed the good
just decide,
to hold light
by your side.

I am

Am I?
A careless tossed ember creating a fire?
A sea of scared trees paralyzed by the flames?
A gush of wind escalating dark desires?
Stormy rain showers driving away the blaze?

Am I?
The fluffiest of clouds, pillow fighting up high?
A rainy day with gleaming beams of pure light?
The brightest of rainbows exposed in the sky?
A big smile of hope shining in saddened eyes?

Am I?
The pretty, the ugly, the good, and the bad?
Every truth that you owned but never quite had?
Emotional bags that were heavy and sad?
Warm gifts of love that makes every soul feel glad?

Am I?
The voice that you hear telling you what is right?
A soothing blanket catching your fears at night?
A clear guide transforming dark thoughts into bright?
The one always there supplying deep insight?

Am I?
A shiny star winking, twinkling well displayed?
The moonlight that causes all darkness to sway?
Sunlight that brightens all your upcoming days?
True self carried in you and leading your way.

Confined

If paddling a boat through the darkest tar,
the tar ensures you will not get too far.
Too far to picture a path towards light,
as light will grasp on, resolving all fights
.

Fights no longer yours, yet you did not let go,
let go of the knots that keep you from control.
Controlling steep steps you have chosen to take,
taking what is real, removing the fake.

The fake can be scanned with a fine toothed comb,
combing through tough knots, while clearing wide roads.
Wide roads show views seen indefinitely,
indefinite scenes, lived infinitely
.

Infinite tug of wars between good and bad,
bad thoughts quickly fade, hearing as you command.
Command with your eyes as they disclose all truths,
truth unmasking ego, exposing true you
.
