Absorbed

Blind my eyes with your delight,
make me warm,
fill me with light.

Bright essence shine around me,
hug me tight,
guide me to see.

Add your spirit to my soul,
steer the wheel,
take full control.

Illuminate every path,
leave all dark,
far in the past.

Wipe the tears that swiftly flow,
hold my hand
and help me grow.

Kiss me softly on my head,
expand love,
so it can spread.

Carry hopes up to the sky
mend my wings
teach me to fly

Sprinkle peace from up above
bless this world
with divine love

Lit

Infinite light
seeps in my head,
gift of insight
shows what lays ahead
.

Whispering sounds
form into words,
voice felt profound
never to be heard
.

Eyes that are shut,
finally see,
every last cut
in everybody
.

Knowledge and truth
instantly heal,
touch it for proof
made to look real
.

Perfect design,
mind made to own,
created life,
formed by what is known
.

Essence of love,
hug so tender,
sent from above,
smile and surrender
.

Hearsay

They say that age
calms down the rage,
a lonely tear
the greatest fear,
no longer care
too scared to dare,
repeating days
but still okay,
secure in skin
while clearing sins,
In love with peace
living at ease
.

They say that time
forgets past crimes,
it gallops by
releasing ties,
as the breeze blows
the pain will flow,
forgiving cheats
without defeat,
erasing shame
not placing blame,
remove old blues
sweep in the new.

They say that change
can be arranged,
stick to your goal
hold your control,
knowing you know
intentions grow,
take things in stride
just let it ride,
keeping your eyes
on your own prize,
focus on you
wishes come true.

Await

I will find solace in the end
with no rare views left to defend
.
My heart exposed,
intentions seen,
bringing to light what lives in me
.

A time will come where I shine bright,
all unseen thoughts will come to light
.
Exposing truths,
erasing lies,
unraveling,

negative ties.

I will find solace in the end,
invented tales will simply bend,
falling apart,

repairing hearts,
as meant to be right from the start.

I try my best to live life right,
so I could sleep well through the night,
conscious at ease,

a sense of peace,
sharing the smiles that I receive
.

My wish for you

May raindrops wash away your tears,
as moonlit skies absorb your fears.

May happiness fill up your heart,
as sorrowed thoughts quickly depart.

May your eyes always find the truth,
as passing days bring gifts of youth.

May judgments slip so you stand tall,
as angel wings capture your falls.

May sweetened words cover your ears,
as kindness guides stories you hear.

May lessons gained keep your brain smart,
as joyful times enhance your art.

May every heart you meet be true,
as sincere flows always find you.

May only friends answer your calls,
as life becomes your greatest ball.

May obstacles instantly clear,
as peaceful waves fill up your years
.

Confined

If paddling a boat through the darkest tar,
the tar ensures you will not get too far.
Too far to picture a path towards light,
as light will grasp on, resolving all fights
.

Fights no longer yours, yet you did not let go,
let go of the knots that keep you from control.
Controlling steep steps you have chosen to take,
taking what is real, removing the fake.

The fake can be scanned with a fine toothed comb,
combing through tough knots, while clearing wide roads.
Wide roads show views seen indefinitely,
indefinite scenes, lived infinitely
.

Infinite tug of wars between good and bad,
bad thoughts quickly fade, hearing as you command.
Command with your eyes as they disclose all truths,
truth unmasking ego, exposing true you
.

Precious

In a chained metal box
lives a heart made of clear glass
clutching one of gold

Bathe

When life takes a turn
and feels a bit bent,
I prepare a bath
made up of intent
.

Warm running water
creates a sound base,
a calmness soon lurks
erasing the chase.

I then add cologne
florida water,
shut both of my eyes
see my grandmother.

Her smile softly says,
make it like a tea,
a mixture of herbs
and relaxing leaves.

She says her goodbyes
to then drift away,
adding my flowers,
submerged I then lay.

All troubles and aches
are lifted at once,
the bath is then drained
anxiety gone
.

Empathy

A piece of me,
I share with you.
You come to me,
when I feel blue
.

I sympathize
,
with what you feel.
You feel for me,
so no big deal
.

Your problems bring

me such unrest.
Unrest now lifted
off my chest
.

Clear off my mind
,
from your affect.
Affects now gone,
cure my heart next
.

I cure your heart
,
easing your mind.
Your mind so pure,
a heart so kind
.

You look away
,
leave tearful eyes.
Eyes meet my glance,
then say good bye
.

Compose myself
not looking back.
Your empathy,
keeps me on track
.
